Kishtwar, Aug 29 (KNO): Leader of Opposition/MLA Paddar Nagseni, Sunil Sharma and MLA, Shagun Parihar Friday reviewed the status of water supply in Kishtwar, Nagseni and Paddar areas.
It was informed that the water supply in Kishtwar town has remained disrupted for the last two days due to damage to the Naigad Gravity line.
The Executive Engineer Jal Shakti apprised the LoP and MLA about the ongoing restoration efforts.
The Legislators directed the Jal Shakti officials to ensure early restoration of the damaged supply line.
They also instructed the department to mobilize water tankers in the affected areas to provide immediate relief to the public until full restoration is achieved.
The meeting was attended by ACR Idrees Lone, ExEn Jal Shakti Kishtwar Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, AEE Jal Shakti Kishtwar besides other senior officers—(KNO)
